The Stock Challenge 2006: NHHS YAY!

the two-day learning experience at ngee ann polytechnic was engaging and enhancing. thrilled. there were about 6-7 grps of students from nanhua. we went there and learnt how to analyse the stock market. stocks are very interesting! the thing that is hard to accomplish is to multi-task. i know, females, multi-tasked, but we have to have lunch, read newspapers, highlight important notes, do paperwork, discuss, thinking, cooperate, go toilet etc within that given time! and that was wad they call the working lunch. i swear i nvr like that, cos to do other things while eating is a bad habit.

anyway, on the first day we learnt more abt the stock market and brokerage films and stocks. that, i admit was a little hard for me to concentrate because the speaker, a canadian, spoke very slowly and in an unfamiliar accent.

the second day was a non-uniform day. we were supposed to dress according to the theme we had for our brokerage. then we had signboards, name tags and everything u need for an office in tht convention hall. my grp has weiqi and liyan. our company was called MONEYPOPERATION. haha :D i was the traveller broker and they two did the paperwork. the watch time was exciting as we all hoped to see the prices of stocks in hand rise! hee. our grp also cooperated with other grps frm nanhua. heh. mryeo let me copy his ans for the knowledge challenge. =)

the game ended. everyone counted their shares and their money. before the prize presentation, i rmb telling weiqi and liyan that we wld nvr win, cos so many others did very well. if we do, i will laugh like mad. 6 grps will be picked for the winners' circles. 1 frm the mixed teams, 2 from the all-girls team and 3 from the all-boys team(decided on the no. of boys and girls present). SURPRISING, MONEYPOPERATION CLINCHED SECOND FOR THE ALL-GIRLS TEAM! WHICH MEANS WE WON! lol we cldnt believe! LOL. the good news is... NANHUA HIGH SCH DOMINATED THE WINNERS' CIRCLE. there are 4 grps from nhhs which entered the winners' circle! YAY. haha :D we've got a certificate and borders voucher. after everything ended i started laughing uncontrollably! i must have looked like some lunatic. =x and, the bad news is that i may need some laughing sessions. ;P HAHA maybe i shld consider taking finance. LOL

ohh, the convention hall is freezing cold! :S

i saw some SHELL petrol advert. it made me go high cos there are FERRARI car models for sale!!! whoooooosh, im going to collect them all! heh :D
recently i noticed a trend. more people are driving lexus and mazda. haha. and i saw a strong blue coloured sports car today. got me excited too. IM IN A GOOD MOOD TODAY!

ohyes, i finally had the flu vaccine. i still need to get some stuff like stockings. and after packing, off to beijing i fly! heh. i cant wait. too bad i dont have a camera :( boo.

2/3's gathering isnt a gathering. 5 boys and 2 girls. we ended up watching DEAD OR ALIVE at cineleisure. before that the boys played LAN while vivian and i walked arnd. they didnt treat us to popcorn. ): LOL

im thinking of a dress. i like that dress. im going to buy that dress!!!
haha, im feeling high today.

movies. i want to watch more movies! too many to be ENOUGH! :D

im going to THE STOCK CHALLENGE GAME this thurs and fri with some other 3/3 people. i was told we are REPRESENTING nanhua high for that! haha. it'll be very very very fun! stocks! :D
