i could barely stay awake throughout chemistry lessons. the lights were off, the screen pulled down and there was only one person speaking at all times. i was so bored and tired i cldnt resist... PLOP! yea, i slept. urgh...! however i was glad that i was able to answer her random qns after i regain conscious.
aint all she said the same? first about the
electrochemical series... then about concentration of ions which affects electrolysis of different products. there's smth about why electrodes are inert and why some are not for certain purposes. we have also learned what happens in electrolysis of aqueous sodium chloride, sulphuric acid etc. the cathode is connected to the negative terminal of the batt while anode is connected to positive terminal. electrons flow and are accumulated in the cathode. hence, the positively charged particles are attracted to it and negatively charged particles to the anode due to potential difference. reduction takes place at the cathode and oxidation at the anode. THERE! :D i listen while i sleep!!!(how did i do that?! LOL)sec4 life is exhausting. im dying. GWARRR. hmwk is piling and im doing them now, with less conscious effort. besides, there're intolerant teachers like echng .... URGHHHH. wad's the point of completing assignments which are alr due? it's a straight 0, and there are no EXCEPTIONS even if you try to explain. siannnnnnnnn. everyday i can see those dark circles beneath my weary eyes. how to survive through lessons like that?!
anyw. sports heats was held today in NUS. trained for a while during lunch with Leticia and Andrea to get ourselves prepared. still, i was freaked out by the track when we entered the sch. 200m seems like such a long distance. BUT.. i was damn happy when i got 1st for the 200m heats! YAY! my first ever 200m individual event! i shld be able to enter the finals? ohh, mummy was not in the same heats as me. =x i will help her win! :D the relays were pretty ok. 2nd for both. wh, l and a were super tired and we decided to take the 4x400m easy. we got 2nd... but the first team 312 was so far in front of us. LOL.
i need to train...
